A big hitting left-hander hailing from Nowra, New South Wales, Nic Maddinson will be out to prove a point in his second season as skipper of the Renegades.

 

The 30-year-old has put together an impressive career thus far, compiling 1869 runs throughout his 99 BBL games in Sixers, Stars and now Renegades’ colours.

 

With a top score of 85 and a strike rate of 123, Maddinson has shown just how dangerous he is in the shorter forms of the game, dominating attacks in both BBL and Victorian colours.

 

While his record with the bat is strong, the former Sheffield Shield winning captain is no slouch with the ball either, able to chip in throughout the middle overs with his left arm orthodox.
