Bethell headlines Gades squad for Geelong clash

English all-rounder Jacob Bethell has been added to the 14-man list for the club's first home game of the season at GMHBA Stadium.

Bethell joins the squad from England's Test team in the recent series in New Zealand where he compiled scores of 50*, 76 and 96 plus a 3-for with the ball.

The 21-year-old, who was selected with Pick 10 in the BBL Overseas Player Draft, arrives in Australia full of confidence off the back of an impressive season in the England camp where he also averages more than 56 with the bat from his seven T20 internationals.

The Renegades’ strong Geelong fan base is set to descend on GMHBA Stadium for the club’s second game of BBL14.

The Final XI will be announced at the bat flip.
