Quinton de Kock confirmed for Scorchers clash

De Kock and paceman Peter Siddle have been added to an extended squad, with the Final XI to take on Perth Scorchers to be confirmed at the pre-match bat flip.
 
Selected with the Renegades’ first pick in the BBL|13 Draft, de Kock arrives in Australia in scintillating form following an impressive ICC World Cup campaign for the Proteas. He amassed 594 runs in his ten innings, at an average of 59.40, sitting second behind only India’s Virat Kohli for the tournament’s leading run scorer.
 
De Kock’s inclusion is a huge boost the Renegades as the club vies to hit the winner’s list on Sunday.
 
The Gades fell eight runs shy in their run chase against the Sixers in Game 1, despite impressive performances from Will Sutherland (51* and 2/21), Jake Fraser-McGurk (48) and Adam Zampa (2/24).
